I am a Theatre major and I am excited to represent my class in student government. I loved my freshman year at SOTA, and I believe that it is a uniquely wonderful school. I hope to maintain the positive learning environment SOTA has to offer. My main reason for joining student government? I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of an amazing school community which offers so much to its students, I wanted to return the favor!
Student government also provides me with opportunities to meet and get to know all of my fellow classmates. I'd like to make this a fun year. I have ideas for fund raising and getting the community more involved in SOTA and I can’t wait to get to know everyone better and represent my class as best I can.
I’m Tommye Finan, a sophomore in Theatre, and I’m thrilled to be your Vice President this year.
My name is Sophia Puliatti. and I am a sophomore in Media. I was in student government last year as the freshmen treasurer, and I love my new position as the sophomore treasurer. I feel so fortunate to be at Ruth Asawa School Of The Arts. It is such an open and inclusive community. I cannot wait to spend the next year helping make our beautiful community even better.
My name is Aneka Yee and I am in the Band Department at SOTA. I am in student government because I want to be a voice for the student body. My goal is to help improve our school and make it a better place for current and future students. In order to accomplish this, I plan to seek input from my classmates to make decisions based on the public’s best interests. In addition, I would like to help make school fests more successful in terms of fundraising, so that we have a larger budget for future events. I plan to be as effective as possible as a member of student government and will address the concerns of my peers in any way I can. I only want what is best for the students of our school.
