Syllabus for the 2nd marking period

 

Tuesday, November 4th

IP Pre-Production Notebook Due

     Notebook must include:

1.       final draft of script/treatment for IP project (narr/doc/experimental)

2.       storyboards (narrative projects only)

3.       shot list (narrative projects only)

4.       cast list (narrative)list of images or B-roll to be collected (experimental/documentary) 

5.       crew list (narrative and documentary)

 

2nd Marking Period – FINAL EXAM – November 19-21

            In-class screening of each student’s video

            Dailies of IP shoots, with a brief 5 minute oral presentation/reflection

            On quality of footage/effectiveness of shoot, etc.

           

For this exam…80% of IP footage must be completed.

FINAL IP PROJECTS DUE DECEMBER 17-19TH

            We will screen the final edits of each student’s IP project duringclass on these

Days. Any students who do not screen their final cuts during class on these days will not be able to show their film at Media Night (the 1st week of January)
