Our main guest speaker, Dr. Vo, is the author of The Mindful Teen: Powerful Skills to Help You Handle Stress One Moment at a Time. A pediatrician from the British Columbia Children's Hospital, and a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine, his medical practice, teaching, and research emphasize promoting resilience in young people to help them thrive in the face of stress and adversity through the practice and application of mindfulness.
Also present will be: Dr. Coco Auerswald, a freshman parent, and a UCSF pediatrician with interests in adolescent health; Wellness Coordinator, Robert Francoeur, MS, LMFT, PPSC; Nurse Kelsey Hulse, BSN, RN, PHN; and Community Health Outreach Worker, Cynthia Cevallos BS; and RAMS Behavioral Health Counselor, Maria Tobo, MS, MFTi, PPSC.
