Who Should Apply

Students who are passionate about a single arts discipline, have the vision, focus and ability to work hard to achieve their artistic goals, are are encouraged to apply to SOTA.

Our students spend their mornings in a stimulating academic environment and their afternoons immersed in the exploration of their arts discipline, either performing or visual.

Each school day SOTA students devote a minimum of 2 to 3 hours (or more) focused on their art. They're asked to work individually and collaboratively, developing a strong sense of self discipline at an advanced creative and artistic level.

Students apply and audition for one of the following departments during an audition cycle: Creative Writing, Dance, Media, Instrumental Music (Band or Orchestra), Piano, Theatre Arts, Theatre Design and Technology, or Vocal (Classical or Musical Theatre), and Visual Arts.
